I do not want to buy the programmer/emulator because it seems to be of the same pinout for both headers (2x10 standard ARM). Has anybody tried to configure such a chip with an Atmel SAM-ICE? Is it possible to use my JTAG programmer with this board? Thanks, Geza
RE: Atmel SAM-ICE with LPC2294?Posted by Dave on December 10, 2010 I think the SAM ICE is basically just a J-Link, but you might find it has been crippled to stop it working with anything except Atmel devices. I don't know definitely as I have never tried it, but it would not surprise me.
RE: Atmel SAM-ICE with LPC2294?Posted by Geza Balazs on December 10, 2010 Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of, too. I can use it with IAR and standard J-Link software of Segger with AT91SAM7 devices, so it must be a J-Link stuff definitely. Can you advise a J-Link device that can access all ARM processors for sure with IAR? Maybe IAR's own J-Link?
